Platform Integration FAQ

Answers to common technical and business questions about adding vital signs to your telehealth platform

Frequently Asked Questions

Most platform teams complete integration in 3-5 business days. The SDK includes comprehensive documentation, sample code for iOS/Android/web, and a sandbox environment for testing. Our engineering support team is available for architecture reviews and integration assistance throughout the process.

Yes. The SDK operates on the device's camera feed independently of your video streaming stack. Whether you use WebRTC, Twilio, Vonage, Zoom SDK, or a custom implementation, the vitals capture runs in parallel without interfering with video quality or performance. It requires camera access that your video call already has.

All biometric processing occurs on the patient's device. No raw video or biometric imagery is transmitted — only structured numerical data (heart rate values, HRV metrics, SpO2 percentages). This data flows through your platform's existing HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. We provide a BAA and detailed security architecture documentation for your compliance review.

Heart rate measurement achieves mean absolute error below 3 BPM in controlled validation studies against FDA-cleared pulse oximeters. Accuracy is optimized across diverse skin tones and lighting conditions. We provide detailed validation data and can support your team's own clinical validation process if required by your regulatory framework.

The SDK supports iOS 14+, Android 8+, and modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). It works with front-facing cameras on smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Minimum camera resolution is 720p, which covers virtually all devices manufactured in the last five years.

We offer per-scan, per-provider-seat, and enterprise volume licensing. Pricing scales with your platform's usage patterns. Contact our team for a custom quote based on your expected volume, platform architecture, and deployment timeline. Pilot programs are available for qualified platforms.
