Why We Built This
Telehealth proved its value during the pandemic, but a critical gap remained: providers could see and hear their patients, but couldn't assess their basic vital signs. Virtual visits lacked the objective clinical data that makes in-person encounters actionable.
We saw telehealth platform companies struggling with this problem. Some tried requiring patients to purchase wearable devices — adoption rates were dismal. Others tried building rPPG technology from scratch — an expensive multi-year research effort that distracted from their core platform work.
Circadify built the SDK so platform companies don't have to. Our rPPG engine is the result of years of computer vision and biomedical signal processing research, packaged into a drop-in SDK that integrates with any telehealth platform in days. On-device processing means HIPAA compliance is built in, not bolted on.
